My last week­end at Cruft­labs was pretty sweet. The Nat­ural Dis­as­ters party was a mas­sive suc­cess. The music was great. The earth­quake dance floor that Steve and I built was absolutely awe­some (until the first bolt sheared off). The keg was almost com­pletely kicked, and it seems that every­one enjoyed themselves.

Sun­day I joined L’s team for bar trivia. I hate trivia—mostly because my team never wins, and I think win­ning is just as impor­tant as play­ing the game. But we won! It was a glo­ri­ous vic­tory. I actu­ally con­tributed a few key answers, such as the name of the thief par­doned by Pon­tious Pilate (Barab­bas) and the Euro­pean man­u­fac­turer of Amer­i­can tank engines in World War I (Renault). It is clear that if I keep this up, I’m going to need to learn more about U.S. Pres­i­dents, actors, and a new genre of music called “hip-hop.”
