I don’t know why I feel bad about Eastman Kodak’s hard times. I’ve tried many of their emulsions, and I’ve consistently hated most of them except for Ektachrome E100S. E100S was actually a terrific film and I loved it. Naturally, Kodak discontinued it less than a year after I started buying it. But I’m not a bitter person, and I love trying new things with an open mind.
So I shot my first roll of Kodak’s legendary Tri-X the other day.
I am pleased to report that it is total crap.
