I saw a strange sight on Sun­day: a U-Haul-style mov­ing truck equipped with a HiRail sys­tem, speed­ing back­wards down the Worcester/Framingham com­muter rail tracks. I guess when you don’t have to worry about steer­ing, you can back up as fast as you’d like. Still, an odd vehi­cle to pass.
