Which reminds me that I need to start showing progress with my China photos. Big backlog there. Big surprise.
The shot above is from a shop on the border of a quaint hutong I explored in south central Beijing (Chongwen). The red marks on the bottom are from film fogging—light that leaked through the sprocket holes of subsequent shots. The Widelux assumes that you are smart enough not to try to open the camera back while film is loaded. Usually I’m good about that. Unfortunately, I destroyed half a roll of film in this manner and damaged the rest. Too bad the lost shots were some of my favorite from the trip, and some of my best Widelux material so far.
