In the last week I have worked on a perfect-binding machine, climbed to the top of Bukit Jambul, gotten drunk at Slippery Senioritas, taken the elevator to the top floor of KOMTAR, explored the strange water-centric world of the Clan Jetties, eaten a meal off a palm leaf, and outrun two wild dogs on my morning jogs.
It’s the dry season here, so all the Malaysians are complaining about how hot the weather is. I had a cabdriver this morning admit that he’d love to see snow. Wimps.
I think I’m ready to come home. But first, an action-packed Sunday adventure with stops in Penang and Singapore.
