lng fight gets ugly, gets a “blog”

AES, Inc., the energy conglomerate with designs for a LNG tanker terminal on Boston Harbor’s Outer Brewster Island (currently a national park), has paid Regan Communications to run a phony “grass-roots campaign” in support of the project. Their current approach is to convince people that the existing Everett LNG terminal is threatening their lives, and therefore they should support the construction of this one, which is futher away. Curiously they have also stated that this terminal would not replace the Everett one, but would supplement it. You’re on your own to understand the logic.

Anyway, as with every grass-roots campaign, this one has a “blog”.

Comment away over there, fellow island-lovers!
