Wel­come back from Thanks­giv­ing, every­body. Hope you all had a fab­u­lous time. I man­aged to eat some decent food and spend some qual­ity time with fam­ily and friends. I left a cold rain in Boston for some won­der­ful 65-and-sunny weather in the ‘nati. I took advan­tage of the improved con­di­tions for some nice run­ning Sat­ur­day. On Sun­day, Dave let me fly left seat in a sweet Dia­mond HK36 Katana Xtreme for my first soar­ing les­son. Motor-gliders are the shiznit. I have to say it feels awfully weird to climb to 8,000 feet and turn off the igni­tion key. I’ll have to try it again in the sum­mer when one can catch some decent ther­mals. Good times!
