God bless this humble carboat

I think I miss the seclusion of the Brookline and Southie work sites. Don’t get me wrong: I like talking to people, but I don’t like having to stop what I’m doing all the time just to do the P.R. dance. When you’re working just off the sidewalk of a busy 4-lane road with heavy pedestrian traffic, you don’t have a lot of options.

“What’s its name?”

“Unfortunately it doesn’t have a name. We just call it the car-boat. Inspiration never struck.”

“Oh! It needs to be baptized!”

Seems like everyone has some idea of what to do with it.
