NOTE: The power at Cruft­labs is on the fritz again. This time in the form of ~300 ms drop-outs. All the com­put­ers except my-computer seem to be able to han­dle this just fine. How­ever, my-computer has rebooted like 8 times today and it’s not very happy about it. (The disks are start­ing to fail anyway.)

So if you can’t get e-mail through to me, or get to the web stuff I host there, uh, well… sorry.

I dusted off a pretty large (3 KVA) UPS from the cruft pile and I am sorry to report that with the cur­rent bat­tery con­di­tion (“bat­tery fail”) it pro­vides a whop­ping 0.5 sec­onds of the 2 hours of addi­tional run­time it’s sup­posed to deliver. Well, that might just be enough.
