acquisitive [and other] activity

I am pleased to report that after 3.5 years of thinking about it, I have finally bought myself a used Leica M6 camera. I hope the wait was worth it!

I’ve had a nasty cold for a solid week now. Everyone at the office stands about ten feet away from me. With any luck, I’ll completely convalesce soon so I can resume doing things—picture-taking included—soon. There will be no shortage of planned activity. The next six weeks include trips to Santa Barbara (for business), Penang (business), Singapore (half-day layover), and Minneapolis (for the first of three weddings this year). I will revisit the NEMES model engineering show to see if the magic is still in the air. I will tend to a few projects at home. I will meet new people and hang out with the old. And I will exercise rigorously enough to keep myself from getting sick again.

Technology sucks.
