HOLY CRAP. Okay, people, if you place value on being a well-considered voter, you must do me and yourself a favor.
Grab a copy of today’s New York Times Magazine and read the Bush 43 biography/analysis piece “Without a Doubt: Faith, Certainty, and the Presidency of George W. Bush.”
That it is written by Ron Suskind will probably make the Good Doc roll his eyes, but believe me, it is a thoughtful and well-considered piece of writing. It’s worth a look no matter who you plan to vote for. In an age when every element of the campaign is high-gloss and completely scripted, it is imperative to look at some inside accounts of what the candidates and their machinery are really like. Incredible.

I saw a link today to a URL that began with “itms://“. What is that? Well, it turns out, it’s simply an invalid URL. I won’t tolerate web developers complaining about poor adherence to standards, because they don’t use them themselves.
